Glare and Overflow Control

To prevent overflowing light from being projected into the air and reduce light pollution, Masco added an external anti-glare mask to the luminaire.

The external anti-glare mask effectively reflects the light emitted into the air into the sports field, eliminating 90% of the glare and overflow light and improving the light efficiency at the same time.

The aluminum reflective parts of the anti-glare mask are all anodized and electrochemically polished, with a reflectance of 99%.

Anti-corrosion technology of lamps and lanterns

Marco lamp housing is made of die-cast aluminum technology, and its surface is sprayed with high-performance polyester powder coating or anodized and electrochemically polished. The fasteners of the lamp are made of HASTELLOY alloy, which has strong chlorine resistance and corrosion resistance.

Masco has conducted more than 150000 hours of experimental research on highly corrosive environments. In the independent laboratory of Muscatine in the United States, the lamps were placed in an indoor test box. According to the ASTMB117 (American Association of Materials and Experiments) standards, the lamps were tested for salt spray to evaluate the performance of various alloys and coatings in acidic corrosive environments.
